Loulis Food Ingredients S.A., Greece's largest flour and food-ingredient producer, operates large-scale distribution warehouses where dust, wooden pallet fragments, and plastic debris accumulate rapidly on concrete floors.
Before automation, manual sweeping consumed significant staff hours every day and diverted warehouse personnel from higher-value logistics tasks. The facility needed a solution that could operate across three distinct zones—distribution areas, storage aisles, and the general warehouse floor—without disrupting forklift traffic.
The Solution
A single Sanad Titan unit was deployed with an autonomous charging dock, programmed to cover all three warehouse zones on a daily schedule. The robot navigates around racking, pallets, and moving forklifts using its onboard LiDAR and obstacle-avoidance system.
Results
The deployment delivered 2,500 m² of daily autonomous coverage, a 60% reduction in cleaning time, and an 80% decrease in manual inspection effort. Staff previously assigned to sweeping were redeployed to inventory management and dispatch coordination.
