The Solution
A fleet of 34 Sanad Pro units (25 standard and 9 wide-path models) was deployed in October 2022, supported by 18 charging docks. The robots cover check-in areas and airside locations, and feature a multi-stage water recycling system that reuses up to 80% of cleaning water.
Results
Over a five-year projection period, the deployment is expected to deliver £124,175 in total cost savings with a 64% return on investment. Terminal 5 alone saves 340,704 liters of water annually through the recycling system, with an additional 1,441 kWh of energy savings.
